Yesterday we have a meeting with a famous landscape architect- Mr. Zhao, he talked about Suzhou garden and the art design contains in it. We know a lot of knowledge forms his speech. It is interesting to find that in ancient Chinese characters, the word garden has an allude to all the important component-walls, topography, branch and water. Garden has a long history, now in china; the four main types of garden are Royal Garden, Private garden, Temple garden and the Scenic landscape garden.
Mr. Zhao focuses on the classical gardens of Suzhou and its artistic features, he talked a lot about it and I was deeply fascinating by this following types:
The ancient city forest
Suzhou is a beautiful city; it has many trees and flowers. Especial embody on gardens.Walking though the twist corridor, peace and harmonious will be the first thing coming into my mind, looking at these scenery, l feel like there is no more worried in my life, happiness is full of my heart .
The living history culture
Gardens has a long history, up to Qin dynasties, garden has appeared. It went through numerous dynasties and has become a culture of carrier, looking at gardens; l seems to see people’s lives of hundred years ago, every tiny thing revealed deep sense of cultural identity.
Possible entered landscape painting
As Mr. Zhao says, Suzhou garden has a vacant realm of art, visit them it is a beauty to enjoy.

Live of Suzhou and gardens are inseparable, without the culture, Suzhou garden will not be as famous as now, it cannot be copied. It is the reason why the person who wants to copy Suzhou garden to Europe was finally give up through this seminar, l has a deeper understanding of gardens, and how to make a better garden. I was once again feeling the charm of natural. As a historical and cultural heritage, all of us should protect it and make other people know how valuable it is.
